Frequently asked questions

For players

How are the rankings calculated?

There is one ranking per category (MOBA, MMORPG, Roguelike…) and one per universe, based solely on the number of votes received since the 1st of the month. In case of a tie, the game with the most votes since it was listed comes first.

Why no overall ranking?

Comparing a MOBA with an idle game doesn't make much sense. The most supported games of the month, across all categories, are simply featured on the home page.

How often can I vote?

Once every 1 h 30 for the same game. You can vote for as many different games as you like.

Do I need an account to vote?

No. An account lets you comment, rate, keep favorites and list your own games.

Why does the game ask for my username?

Some creators give an in-game reward after a vote. Your username tells them who to give it to. Only the game's team can see it.

What do the arrows next to the position mean?

The game's movement in the ranking over the last 24 hours.

For creators

How much does listing cost?

Nothing. Listing, the banner, the API and webhooks are free.

Which games are accepted?

Indie games that are free to play or download, or that offer a free demo. Details are in the rules.

How do I edit or delete my game page?

From the creator space. Deletion is permanent.

Can several people manage a game?

Yes: the owner adds co-managers by username in the “Team” block. They can edit the page and reply to comments, but can't delete the game.

How can I reward players who vote?

Two options: receive a signed webhook on every vote, or query the API to check whether a username has voted. Everything is explained in the API documentation.

Can I prefill the username on the vote page?

Yes, add ?pseudo=NomDuJoueur to your vote link.

What image should I use for the cover?

A 16:9 image, ideally 1280×720, hosted at a direct link (https). Animated GIFs work.

How do I format my description?

Simple Markdown is supported: ## Title, lists with -, **bold**, *italic* and [text](https://lien).

Can I reply to comments?

Yes, the game's team sees a “Reply” button under every comment on its page.

Cheating and moderation

How do you fight fake votes?

Every vote is limited per connection, per account and per username. Forms sent by bots are rejected, and unusual swings are monitored.

What happens to a game that cheats?

Bought votes, automated votes or excessive rewards: the game can be removed from the ranking without notice.

How do I report a game or a comment?

Use the “Report” link on the game page or under the comment. The moderators are notified.

Account

How do I delete my account?

From your profile, at the bottom of the page. Your games stay online without an owner; delete them first if you want them gone.
